about Charlotte Cai Fei

Charlotte is an interdisciplinary artist based in New York. Her work bridges visual art, story telling, speculations, and community collaborations. She embraces a diverse range of mediums including text, sculpture, performance, and material experimenting.

Her work often invites audiences to reimagine and renegotiate their relationship with the world around them. Some of the recurring themes include more-than-human relations, everyday poetics, edible art encounter, and ecological equity.

She is currently a Master of Fine Arts candidate at Parsons School of Design in New York City, where she continues to explore the intersections of art, design and technology.
