Festival of city drifters, 2025
Speculative story-telling and design
not all presence is human-shaped and our world is just one of many.
Imagine how strange and tender it is to be human in a nonhuman world… Let that feeling soften us.
Pulse
.
.
.
time dissolves,
repeats —
here, there,
not here, not there
a slow jellyfish bloom
not asking,
not holding
ocean unfolds into the city
moon-pulled tides
no center, no edge
only the traces of currents,
the quiet contemplation
the faint glow of being
front, back, up, down, left, right
thoughts are tentacles
bodies become vessels
.
.
.
pulse
not a festival of noise
but one with gentleness
softness is strength
stillness holds powder
currents lead the way
we are,
all made of water
